100% Wholewheat and Eggless Burger buns ❤️

Trust me! Once you bake these, you will never go back to having regular Maida based buns! Super healthy, and yet so delicious! And sooo fluffy! 🥰

Ingredients-
2 cups (240 gms) Whole Wheat flour (atta)
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/4 tsp instant yeast
2 tbsp (or 20 gms) Milk powder
2 tbsp caster sugar
1/4 cup (60 gms) Olive Oil
1 cup (240 ml) Buttermilk
Egg wash (optional) or else use milk

Bake at 200 C for 20-25 mins or until golden brown
Brush with butter right away!

Tips-
1. For making the buttermilk, just add 1 tsp vinegar to warm milk and let it sit.
2. Add lukewarm buttermilk to the dough
3. Don’t overknead. We’re not looking for a window pane structure. 5-7 mins is enough.
4. Cover with cling wrap and do cold fermentation
5. I have used egg wash only for a good colour, apart from that it’s a complete eggless recipe! So feel free to use milk instead.
