  1. I'm a little late to this party but I really appreciate these recipes on a budget, along with the meal prep episodes. The other videos are brill as well of course, it's just that as a busy working professional these cheap 'n easy recipes are lifesavers on weekday evenings.

Also I agree and would like to add on to your point about chopping the basil; I was always taught that when chopping soft herbs such as basil or coriander, you'd need a properly sharp knife to slice the herbs properly without bruising it. The reason why some other folks might think it's bruising it is because the knife used isn't sharp enough and whoever's chopping winds up pushing the blade into and bludgeoning the herb to compensate for the bluntness, ending up with the herb bleeding out onto the chopping board. If your board has a big green puddle after chopping, you know that you'd bruised the herbs instead of chopping it properly. There should be minimal green liquid on the board if sliced with a sharp knife.

Anyways great channel, great videos, I was already cooking for myself but these videos have given me a lot more confidence that even I can make something much better than the usual dross that I serve up lol. Keep it up mate!
