I’m wondering if this can be done with nondairy alternatives for the yogurt and the cream. Any thoughts?
This looks so, so good! I’m making this dish this week!
Is it really only $1.75? Even after you add up the chicken, onion, garlic, ginger, spice mix and heavy cream? Seems like it would be much more expensive than that…or am I misunderstanding how the cost is worked out?
Two words: Asafoetida & Fenugreek.
Trust me.
Looks so yummy 😋 but btw garam masala isn’t the main spice – that’s like whole spices ground
Cumin is the most important
For most curries you do need several spices: cumin, coriander powder, turmeric, chilli powder, bit of curry powder
Aswell as black bits, green bits, twigs and leaves 😆
Good luck ❤
Great easy to follow recipe! The color looks a little odd without turmeric though; also affects the taste slightly.
Gotta include labor costs.
– mango
Where the hell does he buy his groceries? I’m in Southern California and there is no way in hell-La-Lel that you’re making that so cheap! No way! Not even considering the amount split into portions. Nope. Looks tasty.
Hey Josh, I know it's been a while since you posted this but I wanted to ask for clarification regarding the sugar measurement. You say to add 2 tsp (9g) of sugar, but for other spices, 3 tsp is 9g. Is this because sugar has a different density/weight? I'll be trying this very soon, thank you for sharing this recipe!
maybe $2 a serving 3 years ago but 3 years of Pedo Joes 300% inflation in food prices now its $12 dollars a serving!
which skillet are you using?
Boneless skinless thigh meat is at least twice as expensive as breast!
