SWEETS FOR THE SWEET!
Here are 2 very easy dessert recipes just in time for Valentine’s Day!
I requires only 10 minutes bake time & the other, no baking required!
In fact, it can be put together in a matter of minutes!
Pink Stuff
1 can cherry pie filling
1 can crushed pineapple, drained
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 cup chopped pecans
1 8 oz tub whipped topping
Mix all the above ingredients together in a large bowl, folding in the whipped topping last.
Refrigerate for approx. 30 minutes before serving.
STRAWBERRY PRETZEL DESSERT
2 cups crushed pretzels
3 Tbsp granulated sugar
1 stick of butter
Melt butter. Stir in sugar & pretzels, stirring to coat.
Press into bottom of 9×13 baking dish.
Bake on 350 for 10 minutes.
Cool completely.
8 oz cream cheese, softened
3/4 c granulated sugar
8 oz whipped topping
Mix & pour mixture over cooled pretzel crust.
6 oz box strawberry jello
2 c boiling water
1 pound fresh strawberries, sliced
Dissolve jello into boiling water.
Refrigerate for approx. 30 minutes & add in strawberries.
When mixture is partially jelled & thickened some, pour over the cream cheese layer.
Cover & refrigerate until jello is completely set (2-4 hours).
