Chocolate Banana Bread: add 1/2 cup baking cocoa
Monkey Banana Bread Recipe
2¾ cups baking mix
2 Tbsp. cinnamon
¼ cup sugar
1½ cup mashed ripe bananas (equivalent to 3 large bananas)
½ cup butter or margarine, melted
¼ cup sugar
Preheat the oven to 350°. Grease a 9×13 inch pan. Mix sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. Mash the banana in a mixing bowl. Make sure you pack the mashed banana in your measuring cups after sweeping off the excess to precisely measure 1 1/2 cups. Add to the mixing bowl.
Stir in self-rising flour. When it starts to look crumbly, use your hands to knead and press the dough together. It will be very sticky, which is normal. Keep kneading until it forms a ball of dough.
Clean your hands, oil them with oil, and rub some oil on your work surface and all around the dough.
Divide the dough into balls – they don’t have to be perfect, but roughly the same size – about the size of a golf ball. Set aside.
Roll each dough ball into melted butter and cinnamon sugar prepared before.
Place the dough balls in the prepared pan. Arrange them next to each other to form a first layer, then stack them up in the pan until all the balls are in the pan.
Bake on the center rack of the oven for 20-25 minutes at 350° until golden brown and puffy.
Flip the bread upside down on a wooden board and let it cool down to room temperature.
Serve plain or with a drizzle of buttercream icing.

Would love to see you demonstrate some of your GF DF options from your book. I have the book and love it! Thanks for all you do to bring great content to us. You are appreciated! God bless you. ❤️🙏
Did you do a gluten free banana bread? You said you were gonna. For your self. Hugs from NH. It's 130am. Your in my life . Insomnia……
If you make gluten free bread it needs to be made in separate containers just to be safe. I have a friend that has celiac disease and if the food is mixed or cooked in containers that have touched something with gluten in it she will react to it.
We have that set of Corning Ware. They all have lids too. I love them and use them for single size portions, small lasagnas, whatever. Love them. They were free to us because Rod's Granny handed them down to him. Gotta love the family heirlooms!
I love you 2 together! ❤

What does the sour milk do????
Easies banana breas: 1 tin condensedmilk, 7 smashed bananas, 5ml vanilla ans 500ml self raising flour. Mix everything and bake. It's a dense bread bit so filling.
The sour milk (buttermilk) was not included in the ingredients
Since there are only 2 of us in the house I use 4 of the smaller pans. I have the one from Wilton that are all 4 in one pan.
I could watch your videos all day long
I guess I'm going to have to wear a glove when I grate like you do. It got me good last night. I love your videos
It's so refreshing to see a real cook that actually scrapes all the ingredients from the bowls 🥣 I'm 72 and the way some people "cook" drives me crazy🤦♀️they leave most of the ingredients in the bowl. Can you share how you make your sour milk, please? I normally use vinegar added to the milk but I noticed your's appeared to be thicker. Thank you for your great recipes😋
God bless you and your family👑🙏💞✝️🐾🕯
