✨What’s YOUR favorite way to decorate shortbread cookies?✨Sprinkles, chocolate, jam, powdered sugar… or all of the above? 😍🍪
👇 Let me know below! I’d love to hear how you make them your own.
I love watching your videos! Thank you for this recipe.🥰
make up your mind Gemma. when you were baking with you mom you promoted Keri gold. now your promoting Plugra
❤🫶🏻❤️
Hey Gemma, is there any way i can make this dairy free? My daughter is allergic to dairy & eggs
I love baking too.
How about Kerrygold or ( I’ve got vegan friends) does vegan butter
Thank you. Where can I get more
Thank you. Where can I get more
Gemma, I just watched your video on making "Traditional Irish Shortbread Cookies". Question; Can I cut the ingredients in half, (still getting good results) so not to make so many cookies? ( just 2 here) Thx Kc
Oh my gosh those look absolutely delicious. I am going to make these. They remind me of cookies my grandmother used to make. She was Irish of course. ❤
What’s a good butter substitute? I’ve never seen the brand you use in any stores I shop.
i grew up with my mother always making shortbread cookies for christmas. such a wonderful and delicious sweet to have, even if its not the holidays 😊
You use 140g/cup of flour? I've always weighed my flour at 120g/cup. There seems to be a variation in weights of flour but most recipes use either 120g or 125g/cup. 🤔
I made these in a pan instead… baked a little longer. was delish!
Gemma, I love your recipes and videos, you're awesome 🎉 Plugra butter has "natural flavor" what chemical is this? Clean, natural butter doesn't need flavoring. My choice, no Plugra! Grass fed KerryGold, President, to name a few, have 82% butterfat. None of these have "natural flavor." I'm just trying to keep from consuming more chemicals.
Thanks again 🌹
Best to you and your family 💖🙏🏻🫂🎉
Hi Gemma, I love the recipe ♥ Question: Can I replace the regular flour with oat flour? Would it turn out the same?
Thought everyone knew bout that butter been using it for years…. Game changer 😊
Hi Gemma,
Hope u doing well. Thanks for sharing and doing wat u do for us. I just have a query. For the cookies can we reduce the sugar content. If yes by how much and what can or shld be added in replacement for the less sugar.
Thank you!! I have a cookie exchange coming up and these look perfect!! I just printed the recipe!! ❤️🎄
Love this recipe 😋.
Where can you get these cutters. Thank you and Happy Christmas 🎄
🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲
These look like the traditional shortbread cookies. I like them a lot better, they're beautiful and make my mouth water thinking of how good they must be.
So many shows this year have shown cookies that are almost 1/2 inch / 2.5 cm and it makes them almost a meal on their own.
Where do you find the cookie cutters?
Thank you for sharing the video on your 3- Ingredient Shortbread Cookies recipe.
I say to myself. How simple can this be.
Baking with LOVE. MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM TEXAS. 👏
My mom makes me shortbread cookies with jam every year for my birthday and for Christmas. It’s the only wish I have from her. They’re called „Spitzbuebe“ (roguish guy) in my country. 😋
Don't forget to use genuine Anchor butter
Dear Gemma, thank you for this recipe. I love it especially because it does not have eggs, i live in India and a lot of people here do not consume eggs including our neighbors and close friends. This recipe will allow will allow me to share more christmas goodies with them❤
Aww this is such a aweet and simple recipe! ❤❤❤ Definitely will try it! You are the best!😊
Where did you buy the cookie cutters with the stamped design?
Thank you Gemma. The holidays are here. Baking, baking ❤❤❤❤
For anyone in the NY/Long Island area, supposedly Stop and Shop stocks this brand of butter. I might actually splurge on some good butter this year to make cookies (normally I use whatever is on sale).
Thank you very much Gemma they look so delicious stay bless eith family
It's a nice recipe because it doesn't have eggs, which my nephew is allergic to, so I plan to try them soon.
From one Irish woman to another, one word. Kerrygold.
I took the bull by the horns and made you butter pastry today. It's in the fridge waiting for me for tomorrow. I'm no chef, so I hope it turns out. I couldn't find the Plugra butter, but I made sure it had the high fat content…I'll find out tomorrow. LOL…and I love shortbread, with church functions coming up for Christmas, it looks like the perfect, and no fuss, desert to take to our church parties, etc. I have to say I prefer my shortbread "as is" without any additions. Those are the cutest cookie cutters! Hope you and your family have a fabulous Christmas. Is your little guy going to help you make Christmas cookies,?he's such a lovely little boy.
Where to find the butter you recommended.?
