  3. Thank you for the inspiration! I'm a counselor/art therapist that works evenings so I'm usually getting off work around 8 PM. You've given me so many amazing ideas for make-ahead meals that can cook while I'm working and be filling, comforting and satisfying as soon as I get out of work. Sooo so appreciated. 💕💕

  7. I love this channel so much, and I'm grateful to have access to so many recipes that feel like home (as well as plenty of new delicious ones!). I haven't had chicken mole in years, but this has my mouth watering to try my hand at making it. Thank you, Mamá. ❤

  8. The dry onion soup mix makes anything taste great! I am going to try these crockpot meals, they look yummy. Have you tried an InstaPot? I have one and I love it. I especially love using my crockpot, as I can dump the ingredients and go out if it’s a busy day. Hugs.

  9. Some great ideas but there isn't any broccoli in the world that needs cooking for four hours!

I love you Angelica but the broccoli in your first recipe was overcooked to hell. It shouldn't be cooked in a slow cooker, it's way too delicate a vegetable! All it needs is a quick few minutes steaming in a saucepan, and it's perfect. The overcooked stuff has no taste or texture, and the nutrients that were once in it, have been nuked to nothing.

Now that the cost of energy is sky high, the most economical way to cook meals is in a pressure cooker or croc-pot/Ninja multi cooker. Pressure cookers for the stove can be bought inexpensively, and they cook food fast and preserve the taste, texture and nutrients. A beef stew made in a pressure cooker in 40 minutes, is way more delicious than one that's sat in a slow cooker for 5 hours. Professional recipe testers have confirmed it! I'd love to see more pressure cooker recipes – many of us are struggling to pay our energy bills now.

  10. They sound delicious. Cannot wait to try the mole chicken and chicken fried rice!!
We are just like that. I don't wanna cook some days and then make something quick in the crockpot Express. The last meal looks delicious. Iit doesn't have to look restaurant quality too taste delicious!!
