  1. A few weeks ago, I cooked the sausage and rice and it turned out great. However this week and last week, I got the burn notice both times. Even when setting the Instant Pot to Sauté and just putting olive oil in, the meter stays on pre-heat. What do I need to do differently?

  2. Made the Cajun sausage and rice last night. Seared 3 chicken drumsticks first and cooked them on top for the pressure cooking part and then shredded them up at the end. Also added a can of diced tomatoes to make it more of a jambalaya. Turned out even better than I thought it would and got three very large meals out of it

  3. Girrrrl I made the Cajun sausage and rice dish and it is one of my favorites! It was something new and different for me. I will be trying the teriyaki one for this week's meal prep.

  4. How do I avoid the burn notice? Everytime i try to cook something with rice it happens 🙁 i de-glaze the pot and got a ceramic non stick pot and everything!!!! It's so frustrating 😩

  5. I am enjoying your channel and recipes very much. Missing though seems to be the weight of the meat you're adding in. Making a whole pot with four chicken tenderloins doesn't seem enough for a whole pot's worth. You offer all the other ingredients with measurements, would you please add weight/cups for the meats in your recipes going forward? Also, I ran into the same thing as many others: the frozen veggies at the end of the teriyaki recipe didn't heat all the way through in just five minutes. Need to heat several minutes more. Trying the sausage recipe next. Thanks for your enthusiasm.

  6. What’s a 10 minute natural pressure release? Is that when it says L one and then L2 and then L3? Or is it 10 minutes after you let the pressure out when you change the knob and the steam comes out? Thank you.

  7. I want to make the lemon chicken, but I can't find White Balsamic Citrus Basil dressing (maybe I'll have more luck at WalMart), would a Lemon Vinaigrette work as a substitute? I have never made a meal (other than spaghetti) that came out good, so I'm hoping with the instant pot that I just bought I can change that, hoping my substitute will be a decent replacement. Also going to attempt the Teriyaki Chicken recipe.

  8. Yummy! Sharing/sending this via text to my cell phone!! Just bought a instant pot pro plus and in need of recipes and specific instructions as I have never used a pressure cooker. Thanks for sharing.

  9. I made the Chicken Teriyaki Stir-Fry and my wife ABSOLUTELY loved it, (the vegetables needed ten minutes to warm up, but who's counting). I also tried the last recipe, but used Italian bread crumbs instead of Ritz crackers, and it wasn't bad, but will try again with the Ritz, and I'm sure it will be a game changer.😁

  10. Thinking a little too much water/chicken broth for the teriyaki chicken bowl (can be a little watery), maybe 1 and 1/4 cups instead of 1 and 1/2 cups. Also, have to be mindful of the size of veggies (broccoli florets) so everything cooks through. Otherwise great receive, and I appreciate this video.

  11. These all sound like awesome ideas for sure, and a great way to use rice and chicken. Best part is, these are all simple enough that if we so desire, we can tweak these recipes and make them our own. Videos like this are always appreciated. Thank you.

  12. Really love Lisa's clarity and concise directions. I've had my Instant Pot for years, but I still revisit other's youtube videos for meal inspiration and tips…Tried Tested and True, Pressure Luck Cooking and Six Sisters Stuff iPot meals are currently my go to's. Company's coming and after the nasty C, all they wanna eat is chicken and rice…LOL, perfect timing!!!! 😀
