Amazing food and an amazing story at Dayne’s Craft Barbecue! Really appreciate Dayne, Ashley, and the entire team for being so hospitable to me. I shot this video during an incredibly trying time, so Dayne’s kindness while I was there was really a light for me.

And of course, congrats to Dayne and team for getting on the Top 10 of this last TM Top 50 List. This is just the beginning for y’all and I am thankful you let me share your story 🙂

See you guys in a couple weeks for the next episode of BBQ Story in D.C. To share the story of the #1 BBQ in the state. Can you guess where?

    Take care, y’all! 🤠

  2. Spending time with the biggest legends in BBQ is just living the dream brother. These people are just incredible and it teaches me so much not just from the cook, but the kind of passion and dedication it takes in this profession. It's because of you videos I found Prime BBQ in NC. I literally live less than an hour from there. Chris actually sat with my wife an I for about 20min and it made our entire day. Keep up the good work!

  3. Dayne's was my 2nd favorite in all of Texas. And their line and people on it was our nr1. You can feel the family/small town environment. We had like 5 people come to us out of nowhere and tell us what we should order. The Burger really is out of this world and their brisket was only matched by Franklin's himself.

Ant, I hope you live forever.

  4. Yeah if you can't handle something like that. Someone who has trouble speaking. At any level. You need to be escorted out the door. Men's trying. Looks like he's doing good. Tell them to hit the road. He's going to stay.

  5. Great video! A top 10 place with people not trained by Goldee’s? Inconceivable! No tallow? No wonder they replaced Franklin’s and Snow’s on the top 10! No M&M smokers? Do the smokers at least identify as M&M?
Such variety! Notice how the close when sold out model is no longer cutting it!
    Keep up the great work!
PS – please do a throwback cooking video in which you recreate their kalachi!👍

  6. Great episode! Makes me want to visit them again when I'm in Texas, Dayne's was good but it wasn't my personal favorite when I first tried it. Maybe I caught them on an off day or something. Will have to try again when I'm in Texas. They don't get top 10 without good reason.

  7. Out of all your BBQ stories Dayne’s connected to me the most… and then he dropped the lumpia on the menu… half Filipino kids! Now we’re basically family! Great documentary Ant as usual!!!
