Check your yeast..is it still within the good date? What temperature is the milk? I microwave mine for two minutes.

I read recently that commercial bread is the most highly processed (full of chemicals) food in the grocery. Another reason to make your own, and it's so easy.

I’m a beginner bread baker. I have an oven with a proofing setting that sets the temperature to 100F. This recipe seems to suggest proofing at room temperature. What’s the harm if I use the proofing setting? Thanks!
