5 Ingredient Peach Cobbler ๐โจ
(Makes 4 servings)
Ingredients:
2 medium peaches
1/2 stick butter, melted
1/2 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup self rising flour
Optional topping:
Ice cream
Directions:
1. Bring a medium pot of water to a boil.
2. slice peaches in half and remove the pit.
3. Add the peaches to the pot and boil for about 2-4 minutes. (The riper the peach the less you will need to boil).
4. Place the peach halves in an ice bath for 5 minutes.
5. Gently peel the skin off the peaches and cut the halves into thin slices. Set to the side.
6. In a small skillet, add melted butter, buttermilk, sugar, and flour. Gently stir until the mixture is about half way combined.
7. Add the peach slices and mix until even.
8. Bake at 450ยฐ for 20-25 minutes or until top is a deep golden color.
9. Top with ice cream and enjoy!

Ive lived in the midwest my entire life, and I think the closest thing we get to that is when we get apricots on our tree in the back! My family always makes apricot pineapple jam around this time of year- its so good!
