Steven’s chili recipe:
1 lb ground beef (needs to have some fat in it!)
Salt and Pepper, to taste
1.5-2 tsp garlic powder
1 Tbsp chili powder
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper, optional
1/2 tsp cumin
1 jalapeno, diced (optional)
1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce

Brown ground beef in large skillet over med-hi heat. Drain if you’d like (Steven didn’t). Add all seasonings, jalapeno, and tomato sauce. Cover and turn the heat to med-low to simmer for at least 10-15 minutes. Serve using a slotted spoon (especially if you didn’t drain the excess grease off).

  4. Hi Mandy, I love your videos and have been particularly impressed with the utensil you use to break up ground meat, or minced meat as we call it in the UK. My brother and I share a home and the cooking, too. He just told me that he'd watched a video last night of someone using a really handy tool to break up meat in her cooking pot. "Was it Mandy in the Making, an American girl?" I asked. "No idea" he said. "She's from the South, from Carolina…" but still "No idea" was the reply so I played a little of your latest video to him. As soon as he saw Gracie Lou he said "Yes, that's the one! I remember the cat!" and a minute later he was ordering a similar tool on Amazon. Mystery solved 😂😂😂!

  5. I love watching your channel. Your husband, Steven reminds me somewhat like my nephew in Louisiana. He nephew has a great sense of humor to.
    I love any recipe that has chicken, spinach and , of course, garlic. I have a seasoning called fire roasted garlic and it’s so delicious!
    You are truly an inspiration to every person that likes to cook. My husband was one when he was alive.

  6. As always love the recipes. I recommend when your instant pot kicks the bucket. Get one like the Dou evo , it’s pot doesn’t need the clip. Handles set Into the main unit. It is so easy to use on your regular cook top as well. I prefer to brown my meat on my cook top then insert it main unit for the pressure cooking. I have more control over the heat. It also has a steam catching feature.
