  1. New subscriber just by seeing this video. I'm looking to cook new things for my man and you have given me LIFE with these recipes Mama! Thank you so much and I appreciate you for all the time you took to make this amazingly informative and delightful and DELICIOUS video! You're so good at your craft and I am grateful to now be a part. Be blessed!

  2. I have always made my meat loaf with oats and the topping we like ketchup and brown sugar. And like you I like a thinner meat loaf I fix mine in round cake pan. ❤and enjoy all your recipes

  3. Thanks again for more great tips!! The fried tater cakes look so good. I have never known how to cook these, (not sure why I never looked up how to make them), your cooking directions look easy and yummy. Another of your tips that I feel really stupid over is the meatloaf – I have always made my in a loaf pan and like you I have never liked having to cut into a big old hunk of meat. I will definitely being doing it is a full casserole dish as you did. Thanks again for the tips and recipes – God bless.

  4. Thanks for the interest and tasty looking recipes. I don't usually go too many kitchen gadgets but the meat masher I saw you use made me run out and buy one. It is my favourite thing to us in the kitchen now. I breaks up the meat into small even pieces. Thanks Mel. Oh and I am going to try Mary's meatloaf in the casserole dish. I love that idea too.

  5. Hi Mel: As the cook in my family. I watch your cooking videos a lot! I recently watch your Ground Beef dinner recipe video and decided to make your Rotell Pasta dinner for my crew. But since we're not really into spicy taco flavored foods too much, I kind of altered the recipe for us! Instead of Rotell can tomato's with green chilies, I used diced canned tomato's and omitted the chili powder! It turned out wonderful and my spouse had seconds and then took a container to work!!!! Love your videos and recipes! Thanks from Ohio

  6. I can tell you why it taste better with the tortilla. The starch in the tortilla activates your tastebuds. That is why we like egg with toast or real bread pizza. Starch makes us taste more of the other flavors. Love your recipies.

  7. Can someone please help me find a recipe I found here and now have lost it? It's a Meatloaf that is made out into 4 patties with a little dent in the middle of each patty and BBQ sauce added into the hole and then spread on the top of each patty. It is a most delicious Meatloaf! Can you help me locate it again? I would be so grateful to have a printed copy of that recipe!

  8. I made Mary's meatloaf last night and I had to give you a shout out that was the BEST MEATLOAF I've ever made. Your right is the oatmeal. WOW. I'll always use this recipe from now on. Thank You for sharing your recipes. I also made that pimento cheese on one of your other recent videos and it's a big hit here too. I'm making it again this week. God Bless

  9. Hi Mel! Love me some Kent Rollins. He's so sweet. Good people.
I love all of these recipes! Our 24-year-old son came up for a visit this week, and he loves to cook with me, so we are making some of these recipes!
