Fine apart from the chilli. That will overpower all the other flavours. And why half a kilo of butter at the end, what benefit is all that fat? 50 g is quite enough.

Seasoninging uncooked pork "to taste" doesn't sound wise.
Add 125g of butter and teaspoon of smoked paprika in the bacon paste. Baset with a honey BBQ sauce in the oven at the 45 min point and Grill for 15 more minute. Baset again at the end. Let it rest 10 minutes. Then eat the damn thing.
