Using a chicken marinade is one of the best ways to give your chicken breast recipe some big flavor and maximum juiciness. From a bright Greek lemon marinade, to punchy honey mustard, and everything in between – here’s everything you need to know about making (and using) the best chicken marinades!

While I’m all for dry rubs for a savory top coat, chicken marinades have their own benefits. They’re great for locking in your favorite flavors, tenderizing the meat, and keeping it ultra juicy as it cooks. That’s especially important for when you’re cooking up chicken breasts – because we all know how easily they can dry out.

In addition to chicken breasts, these marinades can be used for chicken thighs (my favorite), or even chicken drumsticks, depending on what type of meal prep you’ve got going for the week.   1. Thankyou Lisa. Hello from India. Loved your marinades. I tried italian one. I cut small strips of chicken and marinated it and cooked it in pan and used it as a topping for bruschetta. Whole family absolutely loved it.
    Cant wait to try rest of them. 💕

  2. This is too expensive. Just try marinating it in a mixture of 1/2 cup of soy sauce and 2 green calamondins (Kalamansi in the Philippines), or use lime as a substitute. That is it. Your chicken will taste so good.

  3. 1. Greek Lemon:-
    1/4 cup olive oil
    3tbsp lemon juice
    2 minced cloves
    2tsp dried oregano.
    1tsp thyme
    1tsp dijon mustard
    1tsp salt
    Half tsp of pepper

    2: Cilantro Lime
    Quart cup olive oil
    Quart cup cilantro leaves
    2 limes equals…
    3 to 4 tsp of lime zest
    4 tbsp of juice of lime
    2 minced garlic cloves
    1tsp of ground cumin
    Half tsp of chilli powder
    1 tsp salt
    Half tsp salt

    3: Honey mustard :-
    3 tbsp honey (oil coated spoon)
    3 tbsp dijon mustard
    2tbsp olive oil
    2tsp ACViegar
    1 minced garlic
    1tsp salt
    Half tsp black pepper

    4: Teriyaki ish:-
    Quart cup tamari soy sauce or Coconut aminos
    1tbsp sesame oil
    1tbsp rice vinegar
    1 green onion thin sliced
    2tsp of fresh minced ginger
    2 mjnced garlic cloves.

    5: Fajita:-
    Quart cup olive oil
    One lime juice aka 2tbsp
    1 mjnced garlic clove
    1tsp chilli powder
    1tsp ground cumin
    Half tsp paprika
    1tsp salt
    Half tsp black pepper

    6: Italian:-
    Quart cup olive oil
    2tbsp white wine vinegar
    2tsp italian seasoning
    2 minced garlic cloves
    Half tsp chillli flakes
    Half tsp salt

  4. I learn to cook from both my parents when I was young and too small to look over the stove. I love to cook TOO MUCH as I love food. I really would not have a favorite as all of them would taste SO GOOD. I told my wife (now ex.LOL) it is my kitchen but I will share it. Most of my cooking is not done by a recipe as I add as I go along. Recipes are just for a general use THEN I KICK IT UP A NOTCH. LOL. Love watching Emeril Lagasse.
