Honey Garlic Pork Chop Recipe.
INGREDIENTS
4 pork chops bone in or out
Salt and pepper, to season
1 teaspoon garlic powder
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
6 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup water (or chicken broth)
2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar (or apple cider vinegar, or any white vinegar)
Instructions
Preheat broiler/grill on medium-high. Season pork chops with salt, pepper, garlic powder.
Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Sear pork chops on both sides until golden, about 4-5 min each side. Transfer to plate and set aside.
Reduce heat to medium. Melt butter in same pan, scraping browned bits. Sauté garlic 30 sec. Add honey, water, vinegar. Raise heat to medium-high. Cook until sauce thickens slightly, about 3-4 min, stirring occasionally.
Add pork back to pan, baste with sauce, then broil/grill 1-2 min until edges charred.
