First up is banana blossom fish! This is a fairly new but slowly getting more popular way of making vegan fish.

Next up is using bamboo shoots as fish. This isnt very common and In fact I havnt seen this method before, but I have a good feeling about it working out well

Lastly the tried and true tofu fish… I know this version of vegan fish is the absolutely hands down most popular vegan fish, but is it the best?

  1. Definitely makes me want to try out bamboo shoots for a fish alternative. I currently use heart of palm and eggplant as my vegan fishes. Don't care for tofu and banana blossom didn't do well for me when I tried it before. Great video!

  2. I never really cared for fish when I ate meat (25+ years ago!) except for maybe fish sticks, but the last time I had those I was probably 13 haha! It's funny though because I have to say those dang gardein fish fillets are awesome and I buy them occasionally and eat them more than I ever have actual fish

  3. I don't understand why a vegan would want to replicate meat in any way. A cow doesn't seek out meat flavored grasses, because she is a herbivore. It's weird. If you miss meat then you're recognizing that it's tasty to you. If your body is telling you that you're an omnivore, why not listen?

  4. Cornstarch will only clump when put it into hot water dry that's why you mix it into cold water to make a slurry so when you do put it into the hot water the cold water will help the starch granules disperse more evenly preventing the clumping.

  5. I’m not vegan, but I enjoy this so much. I’m not even sure where to start a transition to a plant based diet. Major lifestyle changes make me nervous. Do vegans normally learn from family or is something you researched on your own? If anyone has any tips pls share!!

  6. I just cant grasp my head around the idea of recreating meat.. without meat. Its actually retarded, its not a vegan fish stick, cause their is no fish. Its just a vegan stick. Why try to recreate a meat dish, just eat meat if you want it so bad.

  7. What makes a better fish? HOW ABOUT FISH?! *FLICK* vegans, know what I'm saying? These humble-bragging virtue-signalling "see you next Tuesdays" are the same (mostly) privileged ignoramuses who protest GMOs while claiming "organic" farming is the only farming that should be allowed.

And this, ladies and gentlemen, is the same reason why we don't seek advice on sexual matters from five-year-olds: they have no earthly concept of what they are talking about!

There is only enough arable land suitable for organic farming to support only a SMALL FRACTION of the earth's population. Under the vegans' plan, the rest of the people will be forced to watch their children starve to death, crying in their parents' arms, because VEGANS DEMAND NO PESTICIDES, NO GMOs, AND ALL-ORGANIC FARMING!

Folks, those GMOs are what enables food to grow efficiently in diversified environments, and those pesticides are what protect them while they grow. Are you really so selfish, self-centered, and solipsistic that you just cannot think of the most basic survival needs of others? Is it because they are not suburbanites driving Teslas to their nannied-children's soccer game that you discount them all the way into the trash bin? SHAME ON YOU!

To paraphrase Gandhi, "I know a way out of hell. Find a barbecue joint. A barbecue joint that serves only meat and vegetables farmed by Big Agribusiness. A little barbecue shack on the outskirts of town. And… eat one of everything on the menu. Only, make sure it is all produced using large-scale commercial production methods… and that you let everyone know it."
