Smoked Dino Beef Ribs with Austen Granger | Traeger Grills

Austen’s Beef Rib Recipe:

These smoked beef ribs on the Traeger may seem like a monster task, but Austen Granger walks you through it one step at a time. Austen has made thousands of ribs in his time as a chef, and he’s going all-in this week on Traeger Kitchen with a huge cut of smoked black pepper beef ribs. Be sure to plan ahead—Austen preps his beef ribs for multiple days to build an insanely deep, dark, and flavorful bark loaded with black pepper. Don’t skim through this video—step three features Austen’s secret ingredient for savory flavor (hint: you probably have it in your pantry right now). When these monster ribs come off the grates, you’ll be quoting Austen because “Holy s#!t—they are so good.”

  1. I've got three traegers and they are all excellent.
The smallest cheapest one, the junior elite, cooks the best, I've had to prove how good it is over and over.
If you can't cook with a traeger you might as well give up on it because it's so easy to use with excellent results.

  2. Beef ribs? The way this idiot BUTCHERED those…..they are more like beef back ribs. This is an absolute bloodbath. And the dude couldn't even pronounce the seasoning properly.

Traegar, please. Be better. Get Matt Pittman on here at least. I work at a breakfast spot making biscuits every morning. I've been cooking for a little while and I could trim beef ribs, season them, and explain the cooking process better than this moron.

Oh and I carry my pocket knife in my pocket. Harbor Freight Icon for the win.
