This is very different than what Ive been having. I get the bloody mary type of Michelada. This looks much lighter, kight have to try it.
Noooooooo. This is one of your worst oversimplification videos yet. DO NOT TRY THIS RECIPE AS YOUR INTRO TO MICHELADA PEOPLE.
I've heard from my LA friends that micheladas should also have clam juice.
What an interesting recipe, sounds…..unexpected, lol
this is the whitest michelada recipe in the world. as a Mexican I refuse this recipe.

so many recipes in the comments 😮😊
Great hair of the dog ! (Pelo de Pero) I like mine with Tapatio hot sauce , lemon, salt and corona light beer . 🍺
Thank you Chef. You have influenced me and mine far more than you know over the decades : ).
Mmmm, back in the 70’s we used to have a tall glass of beer with tomato juice in it. It was called a Red Eye. It sounds weird, but it was good. Had a tang to it. I even used V8 juice.
Random question: stop me, if you've already done this. I would appreciate some more 1-skillet meals. Who hates washing a bunch of pots and pans just to make a meal?
the can opener didn't work great because that Tecate is a TWIST OFF
What do I think, Julia… I think I need one..ASAP!!!
There are thousands of different Michelada recipes – my favorite is from Xocimilco in DF: ice, lemon juice, clamato, chilli sauce and beer, and the rim with Tajin. In Germany I don't get the Clamato, I make it here with a hot tomato-juice and Maggi – and Wulle Beer😂 – tastes also great
¡ SALUD !
Missed part of the V8 vegetable tomato juice, … as this is the Mexican hot chili pepper-lime version of the Bloody Mary beer drink.
Michelada, V8 vegetable tomato juice, chili pepper sauce, lime juice, salt, black pepper.
The reason behind this drink, much like Southern drinks, is using the citrus juice to lower down the water surface friction, allowing the alcohol and vegetable minerals salts to enter the bloodstream. This dilates and opens up the blood vessels cooling down the blood heat. At the same time, the chili and black pepper opens up the skin pores, allowing sweat to cool on the skin.
You know you didn’t need the bottle opener for that bottle – the cap twists off, as we can clearly see from the threaded top.
Yum!!!! 🍻
Órale
I may have to try this today😊
Hi Julia! You should trim the Guatemalan michelada, very similar tho! Lime juice, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper, and tomato/climatology juice
Ice on a beer? This is the most gentrified Michelada i've ever seen..
I could use a michelada right about now 🍺
Yes white woman… PLEASE… teach me how to make a Mexican drink. Please.
Where’s the chamoy? Where’s the Clamato? All you have to do is dip your beer can in chamoy then tajin, open it and take a few gulps, then top it off with michelada mix. No need to church this up.
Odd. I've never known a Michelada. Only Cheladas, which contain a bit of clam juice and, importantly, tomato juice with lemon/lime and hot sauce. Yum!
I'm sorry, that doesn't look right to me. It's nothing like the micheladas I've ever had.
I love a Michelada and have had many variations, including clamato juice and tajin. This sounds good, too. Some people seem upset because it's not exactly like the one they drink but most food/drink has several variations. 😊❤
No tomato juice?!
This is a good beginner one. For the advanced recipe add maggi and celery salt.
No thanks! Pretty gross!!!!!
I used egg wash flour and Italian bread crumbs I like that that
Yummy. My favorite. I buy Dos Equis Michaelada, it’s delicious. But I’d like to try to make it at home.
How is Mexican beer different from—any other beer?
