  1. I like your recipe specially you use fresh herbs ❤️ though some might not like roasting together with the lemon skin because the dripping becomes a little bit bitter and I like to use the drippings for the gravy

  2. I recently found your channel looking for a good buttercream recipe. You & my mom would get along famously I'm not a fan of chicken livers.Add table spoon of apple cider vinegar or two of white for extra flavour in the basting.

  3. Good food is good memories… Funny how we all relate a great time with food. Taragon and chicken is a marriage made in heaven. You have a beautiful garden John. I love to garden as well and try to can my own ingredients. Especially my garlic. What you purchase in the store is sad and very easy to grow but it's the wait time. Garlic takes a very very long time. Thank you for all you share. Cheers!

  4. I love this channel, I can’t wait to try this one..
I’m guessing after the roasting, all that staff will make gravy right? I have been hopeless at making gravy and would love to see you show us😊

  5. Love the video and presentation, especially the kitschy 1950s hygiene PSA, but you're overcooking the breast if you pull at 165°. It's probably going to hit 175¯ on rest, and that is serious danger zone for dry breast meat. I would pull it at no higher than 155°. It will continue to cook as you let it rest, and the 165° food safety temp is for instant kill of bacteria. 155° for one minute straight does the same thing but doesn't dry out the breast, and it's going into the 160s as it rests anyway.

  6. A possibly interesting fact. Brazil is the world’s largest exporter of poultry. However, a large part of the poultry exportation is to Moslem customers and they do not eat any offal so there is an immense amount of giblets left over in country. In Brazil we can buy chicken livers, hearts and gizzards by the kilo. In fact a favorite appetizer at barbecues is a spit of chicken livers.

  7. Hi there. I like your videos. On. Washing your hands, if you have an Apple Watch it can be set to vibrate when you have completed the 20 second washing cycles. For those that thought they washed their hands enough they were surprised when they were probably around ten seconds!
