GREEN BREAKFAST SMOOTHIE | for weight loss



This green breakfast smoothie is simple, nutritious and so delicious! It’s a great way to start your day and can help support your health and weight loss goals. This smoothie recipe has a great balance of protein, healthy fats and plant-based carbohydrates.

Baby spinach is the perfect green for new green smoothie drinkers because it’s sweet and mild n flavor. If you wanted something bolder, you can try swapping in some kale or chard. Enjoy!

GREEN BREAKFAST SMOOTHIE FOR WEIGHT LOSS RECIPE
A big handful of spinach (the more the merrier)
1 frozen banana
1 serving of your favorite protein powder (20-25 grams of protein)
1 tablespoon almond butter
2 tablespoons hemp seeds
1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or any liquid you prefer)

Place all of the ingredients into the blender. Add a few ice cubes and blend until light and creamy. Pour and enjoy!

NOTES
You can use any liquid you like for this smoothie; oat milk, coconut milk, soy milk, and or water all work well.

I prefer the taste of whey protein, but a plant-based protein powder works well too.

  2. I made this today and it is so delicious! I didn’t have hemp seeds so I used flaxseed instead and I used whole milk because I don’t buy almond milk very often. It’s so so good!🤗🥰 what a delicious way to get more greens into my body lol

  4. When we froze or boil veggies or fruits, we kill them. We should start and put the nutrients before the taste, and use raw veggies and fruits, so we can get the full benefits and nutrients from them. Plants are alive beings. Do you think you would survive if you would be put into the freezer for more than one hour? I don't think so. This is available for fruits and veggies as well. We need to stop copying what others say and do robotically, and start to think for ourselves.
