I just run it on the hot water or I take a butter knife and release the air or that little rubber disc that opens things
Use a butter knife to push the side of the lid up a little so the air can get released and you can twist it open.
I have it under running warm water, but same principle.
If you are going to use the entire content immediately, just pierce the lid. Or lift it with the strange hook like part on the can opener.
heat expand and cold contract things
Or just use a spoon and pop it
I use either a knife or a spoon that can snuck in the cap, jiggle a bit to loosen the suction, release the air pressure
Work everytime
Grab a teaspoon, put it under the rim. Lightly lever it against the side of the jar to pop the seal. Comes straight off. Takes 2 seconds.
The smile was so over the top, what a ham.
I use a rubber griper and it comes right off
Impressive. Havenāt seen that technique before.
Spoon at the edge.
A rubber band around the edge of the rim provides excellent grip. I haven't had to use any other method since discovering this one.
I use my Pampered Chef jar opener. I'm sure it's old enough to vote and probably isn't made any more.
On a side note….I love Stonewall Kitchen products! šš
Nooooo, opening jars is one of the few things I can do better than my wife.
Ah cool! Iām always looking for more ways to unstick my jars! I have a few go-toās but once they are exhausted Iām struggling.
I just use a spoon under the side of the rim. No water or dish needed.
In general you want to make the interior thing cold and exterior thing warm.
I am enjoying your advent hacks.
Smacking the bottom of the jar really hard always works
I donāt know who this woman is, but her bubbliness is adorable! Iāve really enjoyed this ācalendarā of tips.
Either just run under hot water or do like I do and use your cooking torch.
Hit the lid edge with the back of a chefs knife and stop this nonsense
Just use a bottle opener to break the vacuum. Instant result, no damp lid to slip out of your grasp.
I love these short videos! Super helpful. ā¤ļø
Banging the lid against a carpet at a 45 degree angle is faster and works for me.
I give the lid edge a firm but gentle tap with the spine of a heavy knife, like a chef's knife, to slightly dent the lid. It pops the suction and the lid twists off easily.
Oh, I really hope this one works – one of my chief kitchen woes is jar lid removal!
Interesting, I use a spoon under the rim to open the seal
I tap the side of the lid on my countertop. Works every time.
