  1. We do this every few months with 10 to 15 kg of pork fat. Eastern europe countries tradition. Pork fats are for us same as beef jerky for americans. We have our family recipes, share them with friends and compare flavours and the process we made them during family gatherings.

  2. I use it to make soap too. I take the fried pork fat and melt it in boiling water until all melted and the pork bits drop to the bottom of the water. Refrigerate all of it and pull the disc of solid tallow that’s on top.
