  1. I've had problems with the large marshmallows, where they don't melt nicely and they enter into a hard crack stage after cooling down (yes, I was careful with the heat). This same problem also happens with old marshmallows. I only use freshly bought regular marshmallows now.

  2. Years back I came up with idea of using chocolate marshmallows and Cocoa Krispies and later tried adding about a half a coffee spoon of cocoa powder for extra taste. I'm sure others have had the same idea and added their own twists.

  3. Alton Brown has the greatest recipe for these. You got one part of it, brown the butter. Also lightly, and I mean lightly, toast the cereal in a warm pan or the oven as well. It makes them AMAZING!!!
