Farl is a traditional British bread typically baked at the bottom of the oven. This recipe yields a loaf which is slightly denser but incredibly tasty!
Ingredients:
500g strong white flour/bread flour
10g salt
1 sachet yeast
60g butter, softened/ 60ml vegetable oil
300ml warm water (for a lighter bread, use 350ml)
Tips: don’t cut the bread too early when it’s fresh out of the oven! (Like I did…)
