Ingredients:
🍎 4 Lucy Glo apples (peeled, cored, sliced)
🍎 Juice of 1 lemon
🍎 ½ cup sugar (mix white & brown)
🍎 ½ tsp cinnamon
🍎 ¼ tsp nutmeg
🍎 Pinch of sea salt
🍎 1 ½ cups flour
🍎 ½ cup powdered sugar
🍎 9 tbsp cold butter, diced
🍎 1 egg yolk
🍎 2 tsp ice water

Method:

For the tart crust:
Mix flour, powdered sugar, and a pinch of salt. Cut in cold butter until crumbly. Add egg yolk and ice water until dough comes together. Press into a tart pan, chill for 20 minutes, while you prepare the filling.

For the filling:
Toss apple slices with lemon, sugars, spices, and salt. Let sit 30 minutes to release juices. Arrange in the tart shell, overlapping in a circular pattern. Pour some juices over the top, dot with butter, and bake for 45-50 minutes, or until apples are tender and crust is golden.

Finish with honey or caramel and serve warm with ice cream!
