-Chicken maryland (or thigh cutlet) 650g
-Salt 3g (1/2tsp)
-Sugar 3g (1/2tsp)
-Light or Japanese soy sauce 5ml (1tsp)
-Oyster sauce 9g (1tsp)
[Rice]
-Jasmine rice 250g
-Chicken stock 275ml (x1.1 of rice)
-Sesame oil 15ml (1tbsp)
-Light or Japanese soy sauce 5ml (1tsp)
-Oyster sauce 5g (1/2tsp)
-Salt 3g (1/2tsp)
-Black pepper some
-Ginger 5g (as peeled)
-Garlic 5g (as peeled)
-Green onion 40-50g
[Soy dipping sauce]
-Dark soy sauce 30ml (2tbsp)
-Sesame oil 2.5ml (1/2tsp)
-Chicken stock 30ml (2tbsp)
-Sugar 1.5g (1/4tsp)
[Chilli sauce]
-Sriracha 20g (1tbsp)
-Sugar 2.5g (1/2tsp)
-Chicken stock 30ml (2tbsp)
-Lime juice 15-20ml (1/2 each)
[Green sauce]
-Green onion 70-80g
-Ginger 10g
-Garlic 10g
-Neutral oil 30ml (2tbsp)
-Sesame oil 30ml (2tbsp)
-Salt 1/4tsp (1.8g)

If you worry about that chicken is raw, keep warm after cooking for at least 10-15 mins. That ensures to cook through the chicken.

Can you make this in an old fashioned rice cooker (non digital – only one cooking action witj soring contact). Im not sure conentional rice cooker powerful enough to cook chicken leg and rice. Maybe just lapcheung

I'd sear chicken legs in a pan first and cooked them later using your method. Much more flavor this way.
Bonus points if you get all pan drippings into rice cooker bowl.

Saw this and made all the sauces, marinated 2 legs and 4 thighs and made 2 pieces of chicken and chicken rice in my rice cooker for 3 consecutive days of lunches.. Love this easy dinner for 1 or 2 people. I can boil some chinese veg and add a bit of oyster sauce for a delicious side dish.
How long do you cook the Chicken for?
