Wonderful – that is exactly how I like my egg, although I place it on a piece of toast. I have been poaching similarly for years but without the standing, vinegar and salt. I boil, add the egg and micro for another 45 sec (two eggs out of fridge). But your method seems to hold the egg together better. I'll try it right now — thanks
