  1. How can a a smoothie be called "healthy" when the blender is destroying all the fruits fibers ? A smoothie, a fruits juice is nothing but fructose without fibers, and like any sugar it will damage your liver. It's best to bite into a fruit, the fibers will help the way your liver will treat the fructose, and with one fruit you will feel full when with a smoothie or a juice you need a lot more fruits (and so a lot more sugar !).

  2. My kids love smoothies so I thought this might be an easy way for me to get some more greens into them. I bought the SmartFruit Harvest Greens from Amazon. It is expense. I followed the recipe for the green goddess smoothie exactly. Mine did not have the green color from the video but was more yellow and has a very strong banana taste. I think next time I will try a half frozen banana. My kids did seem to enjoy it but I found it to be too sweet. I checked the label and it has 15g of sugar!
