Air Fryer Crispy Pork Belly Recipe
Ingredients:
2 pounds pork belly slab
6 cloves of garlic, finely minced
2 tablespoons oyster sauce
½ teaspoon garlic salt
¼ teaspoon pepper
½ teaspoon salt
Oil of choice
Directions:
1. Preheat the air fryer to 200F.
2. Dry the skin of the pork with a paper towel. Then using a fork or skewer poke the skin creating many little holes over the entire surface of the skin. Dry with a paper towel again if more moisture has seeped out.
3. Next flip the pork so the skin side is down. Make shallow cuts perpendicular to the meat and 1 inch apart being sure not to cut through the skin layer.
4. In a small bowl mix garlic and oyster sauce.
5. Season pork belly with garlic salt and pepper. Then rub the oyster sauce mixture over to coat.
6. Flip and place skin side up on a piece of foil. Fold the four sides of the foil up to create a tray to hold the pork juices in and prevent drying out.
7. Place the pork belly in the air fryer and cook for 30 minutes. This will help to dry out the skin and create a more crispy skin. Once the skin has dried, season with salt and brush a thin layer of oil over the skin.
8. Increase the heat of the air fryer to 400F and cook for another 40 minutes.
9. Remove from the air fryer and cut using the precut lines made previously and ENJOY!

I like it but in the end your eating fat
Brilliant, very simple..!! I love the idea of the oyster & garlic. I would add some chinese five spice also.
Fantastic, simple. I keep replaying this video every time i cook it.
Music for too loud
That was so cool 🙂You're so talented ,pork bellylook so delicious and tempting 🙂
There is no way that wooden skewer is piercing that raw pork skin. You either use the metal piercing tool or you have to boil the pork for a few minutes to use the wooden picks or skewer. It's little details like that which give people poor results and then they want to know why it didn't turn out like the video.
WHY…. why do you have that annoying music playing that you have to talk over?… when I hear this on any video… I can't watch or hear it… so stop it…
I have the challenge to do this. I've seen tons of videos, yours looks the easiest.
I'll twist some things tho:
1. The seasoning.
2. The first round looks ok 20mints 200F. The second round 400F will do, but I will try less time or check the thing after 20mints because 30-35mints seems too long…
Either way, you recipe won my ❤, keep it up!
You need 5 flavour powder which is a must for traditional crispy pork belly.
what can i use instead of oyster sauce, because of deadly allergy
Hello Relle….In regards to your crispy pork belly recipe: Is it necessary to “par boil” the pork belly first, before moving on to the next steps of preparation or is it an option?…I’m supporter of your channel…Mahalo! 😊
Thanks❤
Cooking with tin foil produces aluminium in your food. Use parchment paper, then foil.
Why not cut through the skin, that the way my grandma cooked it? She didn't cut through the meat.
I hope to make this soon. Thank you Relle! Keep it simple, keeping it Relle. I like how you improvise because some of us may not have all the kitchen tools like a meat tenderizer or clever but you help us make up for it and get the job done. I appreciate that.
Flipping is it the only way to cut even with the clever
Thanks for sharing! I've followed your instructions twice now. The pork belly is crispy and tasty! 🫡
Amazing – thank you so much!
I made this and it was very good. It is different from the normal Chinese 5 spice version that I am used to. Your style will be in my rotation for sure!
I love crunchy pork belly.
Turn it over and chop it up
Chopping off the root end and the tip of the garlic bulb, THEN smashing it makes the paper shell come off in one piece, and you don't even have to smash it that hard.
Is it going to be salty ??🤔
why the hell do you put music to the vid, i hear that more than i can hear you, sooooo annoying
eto pla ginaya ni tipsy tata..lol
Love the video.
