This creamy, tangy, and yummy sandwich is a simple yet flavorful twist on a classic grilled sandwich. Perfect for a quick snack or light meal!

Ingredients:
1 small red onion, thinly sliced

2 garlic cloves, chopped

4 tbsp plain yogurt, strained

1 tsp cooking oil

1 tbsp unsalted butter

2 green chilies, chopped

¼ tsp chili flakes

Pinch of salt (to taste)

2 tbsp chopped coriander

2 slices of white bread

Additional butter for toasting

Instructions:
Prepare the onions and garlic:

Heat a pan with 1 tsp cooking oil.

Add the chopped garlic and sauté for 20-30 seconds.

Add the sliced onion, sprinkle a pinch of salt, and cook until soft.

Add 1 tbsp unsalted butter and continue cooking until the onions turn golden brown.

Make the yogurt filling:

Transfer the sautéed onions and garlic to a bowl.

Add the strained yogurt, chopped green chilies, chili flakes, a pinch of salt, and chopped coriander.

Mix well and set aside.

Toast the bread:

Heat a pan and add a little butter.

Place the white bread slices in the pan, buttering the exposed side.

Toast until golden brown and crisp.

Assemble the sandwich:

Place the toasted bread on a board.

Spread the creamy yogurt mixture generously.

Cut in half and serve as is or with ketchup.
