Makin it this weekend for my Jersey Girls visiting me in CT!!
Add red rock ginger ale, gives a little extra flavor
Ooooooo o o a Wedgewood pitcher
I’ve never had it!!!
Looks absolutely perfect to me! I always wondered how to recreate R. White’s Lemonade (the “official” mixer in the classic British cocktail), and feel so embarrassed to admit I hadn’t thought of adding soda water to lemon juice! I’m definitely going to try this! (I’m also going to send Adam a cocktail recipe that we love, to forward to you to try).
I love the Pimm's Punch at Carthay Circle Restaurant inside Disney California Adventure (Anaheim, CA)
You lost me with "cucumber".
What does pimm's taste like?
I am only 17 and I’m too young for this and I just make it without the alcohol Julia I’m Ella a high school senior I just had my orientation today my best friend curled my hair with a straightener you can actually do that that’s an awkward way to cuddle here I literally start my senior year in seven days.
oh my that looks so cool and refreshing.
This was always the drink of choice at student garden parties, although more adventurous hosts sometimes made claret cup with plenty of borage.
You, my loving cook, said, "let the flavors 'marry'"… Thank you!!!!
ATK + Pimm's cup + Julia = ❤
cheers
i'm so confused. i thought we were making "pims", but then you make a juice and add pims to it… so what is pims? is this alcohol?
They call lemon seeds "pips" in England. Cheers, mate! ( I have the ice bucket for that cocktail set, if you want it).
Love Pimms! A must summer drink.
Celebrate the summer with alcohol. Best done at home.
Always garnished with a maraschino cherry!
You had me until the mint. Mint ruins everything.
Mom still has those glasses (in green) on the top shelf in the kitchen. Those were the fancy "holiday" glasses when I was a kid in the '60's. Mom is my neice and nephews' Oma.
A friend brought back2 bottles from some vacation, so she drank this quite often,,,,,,🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
IMHO..should have zested the peels of the lemons first for a great garnish or for a later recipe since you payed for it 🙂
Oh that looks so refreshing!
Thank you, Julia! I can’t wait to make this recipe for my sister- Pimm’s cup is her favorite drink! Keep up the good work!
Can you make simple syrup with stevia drops?
As a lover of pimms, I was actually disappointed with this rendition of a pimms cup. This was nowhere near a traditional pimms cup.
I literally had my first Pimms cup last week lol
I enjoy watching Julia run the knife. Very nice.
Wow – haven't had a Pimms cup in years. Great blast from the past. Love the glasses and pitcher.
Perfect for hot summer days !!!
It looks so light and refreshing, like a mojito or mint julep.
Pimm's is the go to cocktail when we have guests. For 1 Longdrink glass we use 1 tablespoon of cucumber pieces, 1tbsp lemon pieces, 1 tbsp orange pieces, top the rest of the glass with ice cubes, add 4cl Pimm's No 1 and fill the rest with Ginger Ale. Always a crowd pleaser and as Julia mentioned interchangeable in many ways 🙂
Thanks! Always wondered what to do with Pimms, other than use it as a gin booster. More mixology, please.
would have been nice if you'd explained what pims tastes like…
