  1. Other than significantly larger surface area and fantastic grease trap, what are some of the other advantages of this vs using a 'griddle pan' add on to an existing gas grill ?

  2. This thing is $300 less than the Griddle slate. I feel the most important feature is the metal cooking service. Would you happen to know if it's the same as on the Slate? I could care less about the extra shelves and temp knob for an extra $300.

  3. Congrats! Looks great. I want a griddle, but I have plancha’s and cast iron griddle plates for my gas and charcoal grills… I just don’t know if I can justify adding another grill… šŸ˜…

  4. My question is how many chemicals are in the crap you just spread all
over your cooking surface. Wash the cast iron coat it in avocado oil. Heat it. Repeat repeat repeat. And every time you cook, add fat or oil. Doesn’t have to be avocado oil every time, it just has the highest smoke point. Bacon grease, beef tallow, anything. Doesn’t matter. There are far more natural ways to season cast iron.
