CHEF NOTES:

• How To Reheat: Add the pork chops and apples to a pan with a lid and bake in the oven at 350° for 10-12 minutes or until hot.

• Make Ahead: It is best to serve this recipe as soon as it’s ready, but you can make it up to 1 day ahead of time, simply keep covered in the refrigerator until ready to reheat and serve.

• How To Store: Cover and keep in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.

• I personally enjoy a combination of tart and sweet apples when making them, but feel free to use what you like.

  1. I tested it yesterday and although not everyone here really liked the idea of combining meat with sugar and apples, everyone was very surprised by how delicious the dish turned out. Thanks for the recipe.

  2. Soon as I saw this guy (1) doesn't wear gloves like a pansy and (2) is bald and beautiful (which is where I'll be in a few years), I knew this video would be worth watching. My Mom used to make this, but I love your rendition. I'll definitely be incorporating a few of your twists into my next attempt at this dish!

  3. Okay Chef Billy…. total game changer… I mean yes the recipe looks AMAZING! However, I've been cutting up my apples wrong! thumps head with hand Seriously I used to HATE life trying to cut out that stinking core…. THANK YOU for saving my sanity!!! I'll forever cut around the core, instead of quartering down the middle and doing a weird angle cut!
