  1. Oh my gosh, just made this. Followed the directions exactly, it turned out great. I had to use low-fat kefir so I'm not sure if that affected it in any way. For my oven I would probably cook it another 5 minutes with the lid on and then remove the lid for the last 10 minutes only. But it really turned out fantastic. Thank you for this tutorial!❤

  2. They usually say not to scoop your flour out ,they say to use a spoon to place it in the measuring cup. Never understood why that makes a difference. I see you scoop your dough with the measuring cup. Can you explain the difference?

  3. I used 1 cup of Bob's and 3 of my fresh-milled flour which is high in protein so I had to add the baking powder/ salt to make it "self-rising". Very minimal spread and didn't cook all the way through after 35 minutes with the lid on. Ended up having to wrap in foil and cook on 350 to keep from burning the crust to get the middle done. I'm guessing it's b/c of the fresh-milled flour but that is very sad.

  4. You are a blessing, in these days with tons of preservatives, and high cost of bread. Since watching your video, last week my husband and I have made two loaves of this bread….It's so good. Tasty, crunchy crust and we make our own butter and slather on the Sourdough bread…What a delicious combo.
    Thank you so much for a quick delicious bread .And easy! I made Sourdough last year. I said, I would NEVER go through all that time and effort for Sourdough again. Until, you showed how to make this with Kefir. You are God sent. ❤ We love it!!!
