Homemade McDonald's McChicken Sandwich
I made a homemade McChicken Sandwich… then waited for the drive-thru to open so I could finally try the real one! In the end I ordered it for delivery and did a proper side-by-side taste test. Can the homemade version actually beat McDonald’s?

Had a lot of fun making this one — especially as I’ve never actually had a McChicken before! If you like this sort of thing, check out the day I actually worked at McDonald’s: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EWsQmYD-UvA … other links to videos mentioned are linked in the description… enjoy!
Unless you are making tuna, mayo is disgusting.
"I've never had a McChicken…", wow. Damn. I eat them once a week when I'm lazy and need a meal for 3$
McDonald's toast buns except for the Fillet o Fish, which are steamed. Stephen Petula (McDonald's employee who films and uploads to YouTube) shows this on his videos
What is going on with the prices there? a McChicken here is only $3.99 it used to be $1 so £2.94 now and £0.74. around 2014
i'm sure they both taste amazing, but that visual comparison makes it look like a McChicken Jr vs a McChonkyChicken.

In Canada, it's only mayo. However, when I order the Mac-Chicken, I ask for MAC sauce, pickles, and onions on it.
maccies burgers are made with the love and care of a Japanese sumo wrestler
TBH the Mackie's chicken sandwich is okay but I usually get the flaming hot chicken strips from Aldi, their brioche bun, couple of strips of smoked streaky bacon, and mayo with peri peri sauce mixed in, lettuce and a gherkin ( cheese is optional), and it takes about 15 minutes in the Ninja, and is head and shoulders above the Macdonald's offering
burger. not sandwich
I always get a taste of Horseradish from the sauce
mc chicken sandwich are toasted ….fillet-o-fish the buns are steamed
Mc Donald's is poison. Any non fast food would be better and cheaper.
When will they ban mcdonalds. Total bin food.
Pro chef here. You make it exactly like me. Sometimes I'll do a spicy chicken sandwich. You can basically add franks hot sauce or cayenne. In a quick fix I get the burger king original chicken sandwich, I'm a sucker for it. Nice video though. Looks delicious
In the USA we have the McDonald’s chicken biscuit as part of the breakfast menu, and no healthcare.
I always eat my fries first in the car when I pick up my mcdonald's sandwich. But by the time I get home I'm to full from the fries. So I save the sandwich for later. It doesn't matter what fast food I go to. I hardly ever eat my sandwiches hot and I don't care like it cold too.
Hi Barry, can you do the kfc zinger tower burger next? ❤
The big 3 fast food restaurants (McDonald's, KFC, Burger King) have gone down in quality, and up in price.
The problem with your sandwich was you made it to good.
ordering without the bun is a thing because of low carb diets…
If you know what Barry would UN-invent don't comment it, just like this comment 😂
As someone who worked at McDonalds 10+ years ago all buns were just toasted except fillet o fish which were steamed.
Never had a mcchicken but I do like the mayo chicken
Light mayo from aldi Barry his white
Used to love a McChicken, had one recently and was so underwhelming.
Don’t know if you have Herron foods where you live but they sell a brand called Ranch it’s frozen chicken nuggets and chicken burgers are identical to McDonald’s
No cheese in US but we have a spicy option. Sauce is just mayo btw
Actually barry, you are coorect. The burgers are assembled upside down and the flipped. That's why the bottom bun is usually bare ofr just has some sauce on it at most.
its not breadcrumb its batter
Maccy B's?
Chicken McLewis Sandwich?
I can beat the nugget taster. Years ago (early '90s) I worked in bars. When working for a Scottish & Newcastle pub there used to be a bloke that came round to test that all the Theakston beers were properly served. By test I mean drink. He was usually half-sloshed by the time he reached my bar, can't believe it did his health any good.
Try homemade bread
Wonder how they compare in price.
