When you cut that roast my mouth was juicier than the beef. Amazing.
My mouth is watering, and I just ate dinner
What is the make on the large red pan you used? I need to get one.
I would take Canadian beef over USA beef any day because of the antibiotics that US meat is loaded with. That's why it's not allowed to be sold in European Union.
Nice, $200 for 8Lbs of meat.Lucky Me, Buy Sirloin for $10 x 2 Lbs(1Kg) once in a while
I appreciate you showing how to correctly process such a wonderful cut of beef
Boils my blood when they’re charging for all the fat weight.
If it’s to much don’t buy it and don’t criticize those who can, this. Is the cheapest piece of beef you can buy, very useable
a hundred ninety six dollars!!!😮😮😮who can afford that??
Good video thought. I got into butchering my own deer years ago with a bad experience from deer butcher. I’m actually enjoy the process of separating the muscle groups.
Think how much paid for the fat on the chain meat..
Nice knife skills 👏
pre pandemic this was 110-120$ now its almost 200$
$25 per pound?
I was always taught to sear prior to roasting? Does it matter?
I converted kilos to US pounds, price to USD, meat cost was a little over $17 a pound for an 8-pound tenderloin. I think that is a good price.
That’s a big-ass tenderloin.
A fellow Carnivore, well met.
That was like $40 worth of fat . Way to go Costco butchers..
Yes!!! White pepper to season, that yin & yang thing.
Personally, I’d prefer a good steak cooked on the BBQ.
Want to save some bucks and still get a nice beef tenderloin? Look for Gordon’s, it’s a restaurant supply. Their tenderloins partially trimmed are 10 -11 bucks a pound. They have other large cuts of beef at much cheaper per pound prices.
Who these days can afford 200 dollars for a piece of meat ?
He doesn't explain the meat comes from foreign countries. Look into Costco's products yourself. They sell more products from foreign countries than they do from America. I would not consume Costco meat if it was free. Costco learned from Walmart. That's why I don't shop at either anymore.
Costco food is gross and just plain sucks, I would never eat anything from that dump
Disagree about adding salt of any type to a broth. Salt comes later to the final recipe, whatever it is. YMMV.
You would pay 50 in steak house for 4 oz..200 is a good deal
Typical from bulk. You land up discarding half the weight.
This a regular purchase for our house. You would be hard pressed to find a better cut of beef and processing yourself saves $$. We do leave more of the fat on than you remove. Great channel!
My Costco in Indianapolis doesn’t sell prime beef tenderloin. In fact, I have never seen beef tenderloin there. But they sell prime filet mignon. Which isn’t. I use to go to the business center in Glendale, AZ. When I lived in Phoenix.
If I’m able to afford it one day I’m going to try. I see I can get 3 meals. Thanks for sharing
$200 and you throw 30% away. And this is Costco???
$200. Way too expensive for a hunk of well prepared meat.give me a great hamburger any day. Just sayin
$196…are you americans mad? $30 in the UK. (none american beef)
Out of that 3.7 kg how much did you trim away?
beef tenderloin is another cut of meat i have never purchased because i didn't know how to properly cook it and i didn't want ti ruin a expensive cut of meat. but now that see how you prepared and cooked it im gonna try !
Hello I love your channel, you teach us how to cut properly super recipe and the best is how to save money thank you for your time doing these wonderful videos !! 👍
Nicely butchered and beautifully prepared! Love the way you present ❤❤❤
$200, who can afford to eat like that?
You do know that the meat is still pink on the inside right? And you still ate it!
