Wait, aren't macros and calories these days listed in terms of how we eat them? I mean, if you see 200 calories on something and then you cook it, I thought that accounts for the fat that renders out of it that you don't eat.

I made the sugar-free ketchup meatloaf and used the heavy cream and pork skin crumbs! It was excellent 👏
Also, I baked it at 350° 45 minutes. Perfect 👌
To make gravy, put 8 ounces of full fat/regular cream cheese in that grease. And add like a tablespoon of coconut flour to it.
I use the ATK method for mixing hamburger. Spread it onto a baking sheet, spread the seasoning just as you did and use forks to mix. Then I use a foil lined baking sheet with a rack to cook the meatloaf. The entire thing gets a nice crust.
I made this yet again. We enjoy the 2nd one more just because 1st one included "ketchup", which we DON'T use at all in our home for anything.
Normally, we "load-up" on the bacon, use @12 strips😊
Today, I decided to try using shredded mozzerella cheese for change.
Ingredient is bit "odd", which calls for 1-1/2Lbs ground beef? So, I just make it even 2Lbs.
This meatloaf is THE BOMB👍🥳 No need for gravy at all. Side of broccoli and I add little home made Kim-chee and I'm set for dinner😊
BTW, Ialmost always have to broil mine @3-5 minutes to get the bacon ro brown a little. Otherwise, it "looks" raw and uncooked😅

I place the meatloaf on a rack and then in a baking dish: that way it doesn't sit in it's fat yum yum
I need a low carb meat loaf recipe using almond flour and various dried ingredients. But without adding wet ingredients like cream. And I want it to taste like bacon without using bacon. I think a little vinegar may be ok if not soy sauce. And I forgot to get celery seeds, so I don't need to use celery
You can add a tea spoon of bicarbonate of soda to velvetise the mince. Thank me later.
Adding got onions seems counter productive to not making it tough..

Suggestion on "out-panning" your formed meatloaves: put a dish or tray over the top of the meatloaf pan, then flip all of it upside down, rather than just the meatloaf tray. That way you won't lose anything, and then you can add your bacon to the (now) top of the meatloaf. ALSO, if you add a small "open" baking rack to the bottom of your baking pan, the grease will then drip down into the pan and away from your meatloaf.

Replace the Almond Flour with Pork Rind Crumbs / Pork Panko / Grounded up Pork Rinds and you're cookin, carnivores.
I made mug bread for the recipe and soaked the bread with plant bases oat milk! I added two eggs grated
parmigiano 1/4 tsp of chilli 1/4tsp oregano 1/4 tsp garlic powder!
A dash of Worcester mix together with sautéed onion and garlic! Add the turkey and pork mince, mix the contents together,
shape the meatloaf, put 3 boiled eggs in the middle of the meatloaf
Cover with the rest of the meat! Spoon over the pasta sauce! Bake in the oven for 55 minutes at 160 temperature!

One trick to not over-mix the meat is to mix all other ingredients before you add the meat to the bowl.

Great! It better taste the best at over 800 calories per serving. Maybe I'm wrong but can anyone tell me if high calorie low carb is what we are aiming for to lose weight? I'm so confused now. No offense, the winner sounds great but the nutritional value of calories. Should I just eat a stick of butter with ground beef? That's carnivore right? Is that keto? I thought keto is low carb low calorie. Help! I'm so confused!
Have made the bacon wrapped recipe twice. Love it! I add a few slices of bacon over the ends of the loaf after I've turned it over into a pan since you have leftover bacon from a 12 oz pkg anyway. The gravy is outstanding as well. I use 2 lbs of ground beef, just because it's easier. Takes about an hour for mine to get done and I broil it on low for 5 min at the end to crisp up the bacon. I heat it in the air fryer.
I made both batches hoping to freeze some, but it hasn't lasted long enough yet… Thank you so much for making this. You have been so helpful to me on my keto/carnivore journey. I'd also note that you are looking so good on recent videos, good for you! Your humorous and positive attitude are infectious.

I went from Keto to Carnivore because of the oxalate filled almond flour, veggies, spinach, and all the Keto treats! I left all that behind! I was looking for a different Carnivore meatloaf than the one I've been doing. Just wanted something a little different. This came up in my search feed. I haven't watched you, Wes in a while because I've been Carnivore for a while now.

If you use a higher content of fat in your beef, you can work it without issue. Grind up a brisket and you have 50/50 yummy ground beef. Try Swiss cheese for an interesting flavor.
Have you tried the recipe Neisha uses? Dr Ken Berry's wife. She uses pork panko crumbs instead of almond flour. And covers it in bacon. You have to make the gravy! I would love to hear about how the gravy is!
