Funnel cake pourer works even better to reduce mess.
A glass measuring cup works well too. Easy to pour.
But the 1st 1/4 will be done cooking before the last 1/4. I use a pitcher type container & wipe the edge resulting in evenly cooked waffles & no drips.
In all the years I've been watching ATK this is the 1st not so good tip. Bout time, now we know you are human.
But now it cooks unevenly.

I've really been disliking these "shorts" that channels are doing lately.
How is it helpful to say to use a portion scoop? There are different sizes of them, and waffle irons are different sizes. This is completely useless.

Presto Flipside Belgian Waffle Maker! We've had ours for 15 years and it has been a champ. Not sure they make them anymore… And we just always pour in a cup of batter, the bit that sticks to the measuring cup is just right to keep it from overflowing.
