Here is the recipe my bois for a "normal" amount.
5-6 ataulfo mangos pureed (about 4 cups)
Water – (equal to how much mango puree you get)
1/2C simple syrup (add more or less depending on your sweetness)
Simple syrup recipe –
½Cup sugar
½ water
Yeilds 1 Cup of simple syrup
1. Heat sugar and water until sugar is dissolved. There is no need to boil.

I bought some mango lemonade for some of us at work. One found out that day she was allergic to mango when her throat started itching. Luckily it wasn’t more severe or anaphylactic shock. My mom can’t touch the mango peels but she can eat it if it’s peeled for her. The irritant that affects some people is called urushiol and is also found in poison oak and cashew trees. Cashews come from a pod attached to a “Cashew apple” that actually looks more like a mango than an apple. The cashew has to be steamed out of the pod because it contains the same urushiol as mango and poison oak trees.
