This baked spaghetti holds such a special place in my heart. After I gave birth to my daughter and lost my dad, my dear friend brought this dish to my home. It reminded me how homemade food can heal, comfort, and create lifelong memories on a plate. 🍝❤️

1 package of uncooked spaghetti
1 pound of ground turkey or beef
1 onion, chopped
2 tablespoons of minced garlic
1 (32oz) jar of marinara sauce
1 tablespoon of basil paste
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
1 tablespoon of Roasted garlic powder
1 container of ricotta cheese
1 egg
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese1 cup shredded mozzarella
1 cup shredded cheddar
Pepperoni
Sliced black olives

Preheat oven to 375F. Boil a salted pot of water for the pasta. Cook it for 2 minutes less than the package directions indicate.
In a skillet, heat one tablespoon of oil over medium high heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Add onion, garlic, basil paste, and season with salt, pepper and garlic powder.Add marinara sauce and cook for a few more minutes until it’s warmed through.
Mix sauce with cooked spaghetti. Set aside.
In a small bowl, add ricotta, Parmesan cheese, egg, salt and pepper.
Spray a 9×13 baking dish with cooking spray.
Add half of the spaghetti into the dish and top ricotta mixture. Add the rest of spaghetti and top with mozzarella and cheddar cheese.
Add sliced pepperoni and olives on top cheese and bake uncovered for 20-25 minutes.
Let it sit for 5-10 minutes, then serve by cutting it into squares using a spatula.
