I love lamb. I wouldn’t use beef for this recipe but I like that you can
Wow I’ve actually never heard of this dish. I’m surprised
That looks so good! And actually healthy
Heaven in a plate
Isint this the same yogurt we yse to make mansaf?
So I can have steak from the same animal grilled to medium rare, with no boiling in sight to remove impurities. Other preparations produce impurities. I don't get it
Kashmiris make yakhni just like this.

Mrs. Jabbour, my Syrian next door neighbor in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, when I was a kid was the greatest cook ever born. I'm 74 now and I can still smell her lamb cooking. God bless you and all your family, Mrs. Jabbour!!!!!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤God bless your Mom and family, too!!!!!!!!!❤❤❤❤

Don't use plastic rubber utensils use wooden or steel
You had me until that youghurt and flour. But up to that point, I’m taking that recipe, just substitute what I can’t eat for plain ghee or coconut milk – and then as always, بسم الله !
As a Jordanian I approve

❤️
Syrian here.
I've never heard of anyone who makes shakria with red meat. Most people here do it with chicken, but that's probably due to the rough living conditions and how expensive meat is here in comparison with the average salary.
My family usually cooks this with half a kilo of chicken breast and plain white rice.
Allahumma Barik
Hmm, we make tave kosi, which is the same recipe but baked in the oven and less watery. I like this soup version for the winter.
Mmm when you ripkace the lamb water… U will loose all the goods of the 🍖
It is almost similar like'yakhni' in kashmiri cuisine. You should try the 'yakhni' 🙂.May Allah bless you.
Mama is proud ❤❤❤👏👏
Shakriya is too complicated to just name ingredients,, you really need the recipe to not mess the yogurt up, or else it will be ruined
