That looks amazing and I want to eat a massive bowl of it now!
Buying a carbon steel wok and making my own fried rice at home has saved me copious amounts of $ nowadays considering how affordable it is to make.
I always assumed it was some black magic wizardry to get restaurant quality fried rice at home growing up in the 90s, but you all's channel and others have really shown me it is possible to make a lot of this stuff at home just as good as the restaurants!
Ooooooooo❤❤❤❤
Authentic Puk Fwy Righh
And now that's what I'm talking about. That is a pork fried rice that I remembered. Nowadays, most Chinese restaurants I've been into do not put beans sprouts they do not use scallions either everybody throws and peas and carrots. That is for stew not for rice people. Thank you so much for explaining showing now eating your amazing looking pork fried rice. I would love to have some, but I'm too far away from wherever you may be. Thank you.!!!
6:21 i can relate so much
When it comes to char siu, enough is never enough ❤ love this recipe

several years ago Fortune Cookie Brooklyn,NY.😥
This looks so good and like the rice I grew up having at my local Chinese restaurant in north east. Can you make a video on homemade duck sauce please.
Looks yummy ❤🙏
What kind of rice you used
Wow….. That looks amazing! Instant sub!!
I reall enjoy watching your videos. What’s great pork fried rice. I’d call it pork and fried rice! There’s way more pork than rice in that recipe.👍😋
What exactly is tatou?
Tried you recipe today. OMG, it was so good. Wasn't able to use the bean sprouts and the shaoxing wine because I didn't have any. Enjoy your content especially with the family. God Bless!

I've really been into Asian cooking lately and your channel is great. You have good recipes and you're giving good clear instructions. However, piece of advice the woman in the background she needs to go.She is extremely annoying. You're the chef.Get her out of the video. If it's your wife then i'm sorry but she's gotta go
THANKS FOR THE VIDEO.
YUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM. MASARAP
Thank you very much
We like to add some peas and finely diced carrots.
I’m a big fan of Chinese food. And you are a Chinese culinary expert. Your videos are full of great educational content. Another words you are a great chef and teacher. 🎉. The rice looks delicious it looks very cost effective to make!! I’d like to make this as a side. To sweet and sour breaded chicken fingers! Maybe you could show us how to make them. Chinese chicken wings are awesome too. I love the flavor. It’s unique.
That is either Korean or japanese sesame oil. Chinese sesame oil is bland.
Mo!
Ive been searching for yearssss to find good chinese recipes. As a girl that grew up in new york, the chinese food here is the BEST and your recipes captures the essence of those memories! I love the blog and the videos. Thank You so much!
Fried rice is my favorite dish. We were travelling yesterday and came home to no food (and too tired to cook). Did some takeout. We don't have a proper Chinese restaurant nearby (our usual standby got downgraded by the health department, so that's off the table now). We have a decent family owned teriyaki place that makes various Asian dishes. Pork fried rice was sad though. Not char siu, they used some grilled pork. 😢I'll finish it for lunch anyway.
I promise I will make the char siu myself. We do have a new Chinese market (T&T) that makes the best char siu I have ever eaten (in 69 years!), but it's about 1/2 hour away.
Bill, I made a hughe mistake by watching this video before breakfast – now I'm starving for a big bowl of fried rice!!!!!
What a great recipe, I'm going to try it tomorrow as I don't have any char siu or rice made. I just love your family and Iwant to move next door to you guys 😂. Thanks to your family for teaching us so much.
I am vegan-leaning vegetarian (i use yard eggs only) and made the charsu last week with super firm tofu and last night used it to make this fried rice… OMG, amazing 🤤
A good screaming hot wok is a must… Get that wok hei (sp?) 🔥
What kind of rice do you use?
