โœจ Ultimate Moist Honey Cake Recipe ๐Ÿฏ

Soft, fragrant, and perfectly spiced โ€” this honey cake is the must-bake dessert for Rosh Hashanah, Shabbat, or any Jewish holiday. Made with golden honey, coffee, and orange juice, it stays moist for days and the flavors deepen overnight!

๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿณ Ingredients:

3 ยฝ cups all-purpose flour
1 tbsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
ยฝ tsp salt
4 tsp ground cinnamon
1 cup avocado oil (or neutral oil of choice)
1 cup honey
1 ยฝ cups granulated sugar
ยฝ cup brown sugar
3 large eggs, room temp
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup warm coffee or strong tea
ยฝ cup orange juice (fresh squeezed if possible)

๐Ÿ“Œ Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC). Grease a 9×13 pan or two loaf pans with parchment or use a Bundt pan.
In a large bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, white & brown sugar.
In another bowl, whisk oil, honey, eggs, vanilla, OJ and coffee until smooth.
Slowly add dry mixture to wet. Donโ€™t over-mix.
Bake: 50โ€“55 min (9×13) OR 45โ€“50 min (loaf pans). Toothpick should come out clean but moist.
Cool completely. Best enjoyed the next day once flavors deepen.
