Easy Recipe: No-Knead Bread (Version 1)



Ingredients:

3 cups bread flour
1 packet instant yeast
2 teaspoons sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1.5 cups warm water

Mix together your dry ingredients, then pour in the water in 3 steps, mixing well. When you have a shaggy dough, use your fingertips to gather up the flour in the bowl. Form a loose ball.

Cover with a kitchen towel and let it rise 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, place a Dutch oven in the oven and preheat it to 450 degrees F.

After rising for 60 minutes, tip the dough out into a floured surface and gently shape into a ball or oval. Carefully place it in the hot Dutch oven. Bake covered for 30 minutes then uncovered for 15. Cool at least 10 minutes before cutting.
