Why were you unable to season them? You couldn’t season them before freezing? You couldn’t season one side frozen put it flame side down, then season the non flame side?
What about air fryer ? Then season
Season before freezing season as yo cook just a few options
Season after first flip?
Nothing is better than fresh food and why would frozen be juicier then fresh. The juice is the fat, does it get fattier by being frozen
Im doing smash only as of now, no more frozen BS.
Alsoi call BS on that US chef, either he has his own frozen burgers pre-made or he buys them frozen and then you still only get seasoning on top, not in the meat.
Season after you cook it? Aka season to taste. Hope you weren't tasting raw food 😂
Frozen patties are not as juicy as fresh patties. I know because I've cook many patties both way. Fresh is always better and juicier.
You run it under water and put seasoning on wtf use your brain
You want your fresh burgers to be juicy? Roll two thin patties from the one fat one. Sandwich an ice cube between them. Cook as usual, thank me later.
Freeze the cheese while you're at it
Andy is right. The juiciness depends on the internal temp. Freezing is just allows a bad cook to keep from overcooking the middle of the burger. Learn how to use your grill and learn how to feel the internal temp. Learning how to anything properly is far more important than gimmicks.
I just wait until one side is less frozen then season it then repeat another time and both sides are seasoned
I want to repeat what some other people have said season it before you freeze it or season it halfway through cooking it
I guess we better…..
HEY BABE….
You know you can season it at any point in time in this process. Your question makes me question you as a cook. Where is that? Don’t recommend this channel button again. 🤡
From frozen meat is gross.
I get the Costco frozen burgers as a convenience for timing and volume. If I am cooking in a pan I will season the pan and the oil before putting the burger down then seasoning after flipping.
Has nobody hear seen the food lab burger seasoning tests? You have to put salt on right before you cook it, if you wait too long after salting it does something funky to the proteins and makes the burger patties have a substantially worse texture.
Your excuse was how do you season it??? You literally put salt on it while it's frozen before you put it on the grill 😂😂😂. I don't get this…
Why would you season a patty?
Once the meat thaws during cooking, you season, flip, season. Letting it rest before eating, gives more than enough time for the seasoning to add flavor in my experience.
They thaw on the grill, it's not rocket surgery.
Don't see why it wouldn't work. Works great with steaks. Just season as you flip.
Season after cooking if you don't season before freezing, just don't use as much salt and pepper as you usually would.
Can never afford a freshly made burger. Glad to know frozen patties are the way to go😅
Can't you just season them after you cook them?
chilled not frozen, best advice i was ever given, tried room temp, fell apart, bc i dont like to add binders like bread crumbs
Couldn't you season them when they start thawing out on the grill? Either way I agree with Andy that I'd rather cook them chilled not frozen
Umm even without freezing you can still season them during or after.
That gangstarr vinyl in the back hell yeah
