Much better if you use graham crackers instead of the saltines IMHO
I've been making this for years. After you put the sugar on top bake it at 350 for like 12 minutes. Pull it out and put the chocolate on. It toasts the crackers and completely engulfs them in the toffee. Perfection!!!
People dont understand anymore how versatile the saltine truly is
