Amazing Bread Pudding Recipe

Bread pudding is made with simple ingredients you probably have in your pantry, making it a great recipe to put together if you are short on time or have a loaf of bread that needs to be used. Serve this recipe for dessert or even as a decadent breakfast or brunch. Making bread pudding with leftover day-old bread is one of my core childhood memories. Involve your kids or family in preparing the pudding, and easily personalize this recipe by mixing in raisins, dried fruit, or chocolate chips.

  1. Am I the only one that prefers the flavor of egg yolks over cornstarch? Cornstarch pudding is, “Meh.” While egg yolk custard is, “This is awful — you should let me eat all of this to spare you burden of having to dispose of it.”

  2. Hi John, love your channel, I dont really have a sweet tooth, but my Mrs does, so you have saved my marriage! lol I was wondering if you have ever made or have a recipe for the Chelsea bun? I prefer less sweet deserts and with these I can buy them with more or less glaze (less for me more for the wife!) it's a bread pastry filled with fried fruits and citrus, with warming spices. There are a few recipes out there, but I find yours easier and tastier in the end. Thanks from the UK
