Here in America we do this with a brownie mixture and a cocoa sugar mixture with boiling water carefully added over the pan! My family calls it brownie soup, sooo good with a good vanilla ice cream!
YIKES!! That man wasn't lying! That syrup at the bottom was beyond a 911 call! Seeing that steaming hot syrup had me cringing. That is indeed a 3rd degree burn waiting to happen.
