How did you set broiler to high? It only has one setting
Is there a kosher version of the this recipe?
dont eat bacon ham pork
Fortunately, the microwave is not needed. This dish was invented before microwave ovens.
What a sad waste of bacon fat lol
Great recipe Chrissy
I love scallops and her! Well done.
7:31 you’re just chopping straight down then pulling the knife backwards once it’s in full contact with the cutting board. Seems like a regular cutting action would be preferable.
Zur😮🎉🎉
An excellent presentation by one of my favorite presenters.
False. The easiest way is to buy them pre-made.
I wouldn't ruin a scallop by wrapping it in bacon and I love bacon. I just happen to appreciate scallops on their own.
I think it would be better with king oyster mushroom. I can’t afford scallops😢
Awesome class ! TY Christy 👍
Make playlist for gluten-free videos please.
I would cut off the white part of the bacon fat and throw it away. The lean side of the bacon is only worth using.
If you need to have bacon on a perfectly delicious scallop, you don't like scallops in the first place, or haven't had them properly prepared. Use a hot dog and some Mac and Cheese.
Some of the scallops are wrapped in bacon fat only. I'm sure the flavor is there, but really? It's just fat.
If we could just find scallops, they have been scarce for a long time.
I do precook the bacon, but then I fry (sear) the scallops in butter/oil/garlic while basting . They come out beautiful and oh so good
I went to a party and they had bacon wrapped cocktail hot dogs.
Scallops are a bit pricey for me. I have frozen mussels on hand, as well as bacon.
I wonder if I could adapt the recipe?
The bacon is going to screw up the delicate of the scallop. This is one of the worst creation of the American's cuisine.
I just use sharp kitchen shears to cut chives directly above where I want them to end up; no cutting board to crush them and very fast. They do have to be nice and dry tho.
Fantastic!! Bacon wrapped scallops are a family favorite. Now I know how to make them even better! Thanks ATK! 👍👍
I thought scallops were usually seasoned with butter or garlic butter. Huh ! I will give your method a try, probably for Super Bowl.
Thank you!
